Fashionistas went crazy for the Kate Moss 'bold cat eye' look in her most recent Topshop campaign (topped with big earrings and a sleek bun). But, for Fall/Winter 2010, New York designers are taking the look a few steps further.
Zac Posen went for an exaggerated, straight eyeliner both on the lid and underneath the eye to create a look that was "trashy with dignity," as he described it to style.com. And taking it a step even further, was Jeremy Scott! Scott gave his models 'winged eyes,' with three bold lines of eyeliner coming together at the temples. *Swoon*
If a heavily lined eye isn't your thing, then grunge is also making a comeback! The 'purposely uncared for hair' styles made popular in the 90s made a brief appearance at the Alexander Wang FW10 show. The trend actually went beyond hair, with labels such as Rag & Bone creating looks that seemed as if models had slept in their makeup.
Hm, we don't know if we're ready to let grunge back into our lives, but we do love a good cat eye! What about you?
