To say that I'm obsessed is an understatement.
Gucci DOMINATED Milan Fashion Week with Alessandro Michele at the helm. The creative director referred to the collection as “renaissance street style,” and it wasn't difficult to connect that feeling with the line. With an effortless blend of heritage highlights and fresh new silhouettes, he offered up a festive look for FW16.
Another exciting collaboration for the brand is the introduction of artist #GucciGhost aka @troubleandrew. “The way he uses the logo of the company is by taking it to the streets, it is interesting how our language, started by a family in Florence nearly 100 years ago can be something very contemporary,” said Alessandro Michele.
Filled with colorful furs, embellished graphics, metallic fringe and flowing dresses in soft pastels-- the collection feels youthful and sophisticated. The addition of knuckle rings and patterned bags ties the street inspiration together for a bangin' FW16 look. I've highlighted some of my favorite pieces below!
