Christian Louboutin isn’t the only one playing with Barbie these days.  According to Dazed Digital, Rei Kawakubo has created a limited edition Barbie as part of their Platinum Label Collection. 

 

We all shrugged (and laughed) when we heard Louboutin refer to barbie's ankles as "fat."But according to new evidence, if Barbie were human, she'd also go on jewelry heists with Christian Louboutin. You didn't think he'd be content with just putting his name on the box for this collab, did you? Especially when he had Mattel re-shape her feet & ankles!  To make up for his statament Louboutin created a hilariously insane photo book chronicling his adventures with Barbie. The Jewel heist is one of the best. 

The photo book also chronicles Louboutin shopping in Paris with Barbie, crashing Barbie's photoshoots, and even catching Barbie at a cafe with another guy.

The photo diary can be purchased for $40.00 or as a gift with purchase of the Jewel Thief Barbie ($150) in December. The other dolls are a safari-themed Barbie and a Barbie who is going to Cannes Film Festival. Each of the three dolls comes with four pairs of Barbie-sized Louboutins- how fab! 

 

Christian Louboutin is the latest designer to create a Barbie design. But this isn't just another signature/collaborative collection, Louboutin is actually reshaping Barbie's feet! "He found her ankles were too fat," said a Louboutin spokeswoman. 

There will be a total of three Louboutin Barbies, who will come with mini Louboutin boxes for the doll's shoes! This is sounding more like a gift to the fashionistas of the world vs. your darling kid sis...
