Back in December we showed you the first Sex and the City 2 film poster featuring Sarah Jessica Parker in a white Halston Heritage Dress. While I wasn't completely in love with it, I do appreciate the latest promo poster! In the latest version, SJP is sporting a gorgeous Emilio Pucci dress from the Fall/Winter 2009-10 collection. Do you like the new look better?

Oscars 2010 Hair Trends

Up-Do's reigned supreme on the red carpet this year. Buns were one of the most popular choices at the Academy Awards as celebs like Sarah Jessica Parker, J.Lo and rachel McAdams each rocked their own variation of the trend. 

Sarah Jessica Parker chose a big, sculptural bun that took inspiration from flowers. Jennifer Lopez, Rachel McAdams and Nicole Richie all chose smaller sized buns at varying heights. J.Lo chose the casual 'messy look' that is a big trend for FW10 while Nicole kept it all neatly tucked. Mo'Niques 'do featured beautiful white flowers that gave the simple hairstyle some extra pizazz.

The overall appeal of this style is that it creates a simple "undone" look without going overboard. Simple styles also give you the ability to wear an outrageous outfit & look chic.  Do you like the look?

SJP NYC by Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker is set to launch her own "SJP NYC" fragrance through Coty Prestige.  I do love her work as the character Carrie Bradshaw, but as a TRUE New Yorker- I still get mad when non born & raised people claim New York'dom. She's from OHIO! *Sigh*

Anyhow, "SJP NYC" is said to capture the essence of freedom, New York and style. The scent is fruity and floral & the packaging represents the inside of SJP’s closet. In the ad campaign Sarah jessica Parker wears a one-of-a kind Oscar de la Renta gown (give it up for Dominican designers!).  

The perfume is curently available at all "fine department stores" for $49.00
