Dogeared Creates 'Sex and the City' Jewelry

While you may already be anticipating the "Sex and the City 2" movie, we hear there is also a line of jewelry on the way. The line, by Dogeared, is inspired by the characters' most memorable quotes! 

The line will include diamond, stiletto, and Eiffel tower charms on gold or silver chains, which come attached to cards featuring quotes like "I've been dating since I was 15. I'm exhausted! Where is he?"

Prices range from $55 to $200, and will be available in Spring atHBO.com, as well as on Dogeared.com.

Kate Moss for Longchamp + Sarah Jessica Parker for Halston?

I'm the first to admit when I think a celebrity line is awesome- but for the most part I think that assigning the role of "creative director" or "designer" to these celebs is undeserved. The truth is, they usually have someone walking them through the design process and executing the labor for them. And maybe it's just me, but I think it is unfair to all the true 'designers' and people who work extra hard behind the scenes to make cool shit. But who cares about all that stuff, right? 

At a time when even Lady Gaga is appointed the role of Creative Director for Polaroid, it is no surprise that Kate Moss will be designing a signature line for Longchamp. However,what most people don't know is that this line of handbags for Longchamp will be overseen by the brand’s artistic director Sophie Delafontaine. If that isn't enough, Sarah Jessica Parker is also on the way to taking on a creative director role at Halston heritage. Hm, it suddenly makes you wonder why she's wearing a white Halston Heritage dress on the set of Sex and the City 2 and in the official movie trailer....

Oh, fashion- you are so fickle but we love you anyway.

Sex and The City 2 Movie Trailer

After all of these months of posting "Behind The Scenes" images of their outfits and the movie poster...The Sex and The City 2 Trailer has finally arrived! I love the scenes with Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte in Morocco, but using  “Empire State of Mind” as a theme song is so cliche. The film hits theaters May 28, 2010. Will you be watching?

"The Carrie Diaries" by Candace Bushnell

This is the first image of Candace Bushnell’s "The Carrie Diaries" book cover. This will be the first book in the series. Each one will be set during the teen years of the Sex And The City protagonist.

“Carrie in high school did not follow the crowd – she led it, it was there that she began observing and commenting on the social scene.”

The first volume of The Carrie Diaries is scheduled for release April 27, 2010, just a month before the theaterical release of Sex And The City 2.

Sex And The City 2- Carrie Bradshaw In Dior

 I love the volume & color of SJP's skirt. When matched with a t-shirt, it makes it look even cooler. Patricia Field (SATC stylist) is always able to uniquely combine high end pieces with a touch of funk. I just don't understand why "Carrie" has been toting around the same bag in almost every pic I've seen...

I also hear that the ladies are currently filming in Morocco- I wonder if this picture was taken there? Oh, the mystery!

Sex And The City 2- Kristin Davis (Charlotte)

Kristin Davis (aka Charlotte) has said that she thinks ‘Sex and the City 2’ is like “condensed soup”.  Apparently her bosses crammed so many dramatic plotlines into the upcoming sequel & have made it much more intense than the '08 film. She told MTV:

"This one is not going to be that long. It's like condensed soup. It's different, and adventurous and rich, and there's music involved.”

Kristin – who stars in the films with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall andCynthia Nixon – also revealed the cast are currently working long hours to completethe film.

"We were shooting nights last week, and pretty much for the two weeks before that. All night. We were not doing a night exterior, but that's how many hours we needed to get certain things done. When it comes out, you're going to know what I'm talking about. I can't tell you right now, except to say that they are huge scenes with like hundreds of people in them!

What about the fashion? Kristin says “There were more costume changes in the first film than there are in the second one.”

I can't wait to see!
