This is the first image of Candace Bushnell’s "The Carrie Diaries" book cover. This will be the first book in the series. Each one will be set during the teen years of the Sex And The City protagonist.
“Carrie in high school did not follow the crowd – she led it, it was there that she began observing and commenting on the social scene.”
The first volume of The Carrie Diaries is scheduled for release April 27, 2010, just a month before the theaterical release of Sex And The City 2.

It's about time a fellow Cruz made it on SATC! (But, I still wish it were me).
Penélope Cruz is now on the list of stars who will be making an appearance in the highly anticipated Sex in the City sequel! The Spanish actress will be joining celebs like: Miley Cyrus & Liza Minelli who also have cameos in the new film.
Cruz just wrapped her scene in the film where she will be playing herself on the red carpet! Beyonce & Britney are said to be making an appearance in the film as well. If the rumors are true, Minelli will be performing "Single Ladies" at the wedding of Stanford and Anthony, at which Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie, will serve as the best man.
Can't wait!!!!!
