Last week I had the pleasure of working on yet another UNDRCRWN lookbook shoot. I mostly helped scout some fabulous models (courtesy of my friends Chanel + Ian) and 'styled' the fellas. We wanted it to feel familiar and look organic- so the we kept the guys looking very natural and low maintenance.
The styles selected are a throwback to the early 90s Cali-Centric fashions. You know, coaches jackets / 'all black everything' pre Jay-Z / fitted sweaters and sports nostalgia that defined the era.

In celebration of Duck Down Music's 15 Year Anniversary, the indie powerhouse has partnered with UNDRCRWN, The Brand for Champions, to release a collaborative limited edition t-shirt design. UNDRCRWN takes a unique approach on sports lifestyle, crafting the t-shirt design to cater to Duck Down's 15 Year Anniversary SXSW Showcase on Friday, March 19th in Austin Texas. The first 50 attendees will receive the exclusive t-shirt. The showcase begins at 8PM at the Scoot Inn with live performances by B-Real of Cypress Hill, 9th Wonder & Buckshot, Sean Price & Black Milk, Pharoahe Monch, Smif N Wessun, Kidz in the Hall, Blue Scholars, Skyzoo, Marco Polo & Ruste Juxx, and many more. NYC's Hot97's own Peter Rosenberg will be hosting the event.

Last night, UNDRCRWN had the pleasure of being featured on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. The entire 'Poreotix' team wore the Red 'Marcy Track Jacket' with customized crystal designs by Kara Saun. For those who aren't familiar with Kara Saun, she was a finalist on the first season of the hit tv show 'Project Runway' / dope designer and stylist.
